Frequently asked questions
FAQ
Below you can find answers to frequently asked questions.
Q: I have migraine/epilepsy, can I participate in the game?
A: We don’t recommend participating in the game if flickering lights expose you to a migraine or an epileptic seizure. Flickering lights of game vests may irritate you and cause a migraine attack or sudden epileptic seizure.
Q: I have a pacemaker, can I participate in the game?
A: Playing is possible but only at your own risk. Magnets (very small) that are located on the game vests may cause disorders to your pacemaker. There is no clinical research of the impact and there are no known disorders that we would’ve heard of. Always discuss with your doctor before participating in the game with pacemaker.
Q: Can I participate in the game with wheelchair?
A: Yes, a wheelchair does not prevent you from participating in the game. However, the game arena is not completely unobstructed. There are ramps and reliefs in the game arena that might cause problems for people with reduced mobility. You can bring a personal assistant with you free of charge.
Q: I can use only one hand, can I play?
A: Yes, you can. We can change the settings of your gun so that it can be used with one hand. You must let the staff know about the situation.
Q: I’m pregnant, is the game safe for me?
A: Megazone is as safe as any other sport that pregnant mom can do. Laser beam does not cause any damage neither for the mom nor the baby.
Q: Does the game suit children?
A: Yes, it does! Our recommended age limit is 7 years but even younger players are welcome with their parents or other escort. Megazone is an active indoor experience that is good for the development of children. All the vests are one size fits all. The vests can be adjusted by using the bands on the sides to fit even the smallest children. There are flashing lights and loud noises that might frighten some of the smallest players.
Q: How are the teams formed? Can I come and play if I am alone?
A: There can also be other players participating in the same game. The teams are formed by our professional game operators to make the games fun and fair for all parties. We might have to split the birthday groups apart in order to meet these values. We always welcome wishes concerning the team distribution, but the game operators have the final say in the matter. You can always join open games even if you are alone. You will be assigned a team by the game operators.
Q: Do you have dressing rooms and showers? Where can I change my clothes before and after the games?
A: Megazone has small dressing rooms for changing clothes before and after the games. The Sports Center also has its own dressing rooms with showers.
